US Government HIV International Program

Cathy Nguyen is a contractor with Credence LLC, serving as the Senior HIV Strategy Advisor for the Office of HIV/AIDS at the US Agency for International Development (USAID). She has 20 years of  experience with managing and coordinating health activities and offices for various private and public entities. Her introduction to working in Sub-Saharan Africa in the field of global health started as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Community Health Educator in Mali (RPCV 1996-1998). Subsequent assignments have taken her to Benin, Cameroon, Chad, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Tanzania, Senegal, and Vietnam. Cathy holds a Master in Public Affairs from Princeton University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Williams College.
